Across the country, City Year’s 3,000 AmeriCorps members and thousands of volunteers are gathering for a day of service to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Led by the Corporation for National and Community Service, MLK Day of Service is a national day of service—a "day on, not a day off"—for individuals from all walks of life to strengthen communities, bridge barriers and move us closer to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of a Beloved Community.
